3rd Grade Teachers

Mrs. Lindsay Ott attended San Jose State University receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and a Minor in Creative Arts. She earned her Elementary Teaching Certification through Western Washington University. She previously taught 3rd and 4th grades over the past 18 years at Christian schools in San Jose, California, and Bellingham, Washington. She joined NCA in 2016. Mrs. Ott enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, Ladies’ Bible studies, traveling, cooking, knitting, and a good balance of activities.

 
 
 

Ms. Laurena Lau graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a Master of Education degree, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction. She also received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication, with minors in Education, Learning & Society (ELS) and Entrepreneurship, from the UW.  She loves running races, playing guitar and piano, volunteering, hiking, going rock climbing, spending time with friends and family, and embarking on new adventures. Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Laurena is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and empowering students to become their best. 

 
 

Mrs. Wendy Wagner graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Central Washington University and earned her Master’s Degree from Lesley University. She taught at public schools for 7 years, then for 3 years at Eastside Christian School before joining NCA in 2000. Mrs. Wagner has a passion for writing and music and her students enjoy the incorporation of both in their classroom.

 
 
 

 

Miss Samantha Archer recently graduated with her BA in Elementary Education and Bible from Moody Bible Institute-Chicago. She was born and raised in California before attending school in Chicago. She has always loved school and teaching children in church and has followed God's call into Christian education to be able to disciple young hearts and teach young minds. She loves studying history, theology, and the Bible and sharing that love with others.  She enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and drinking coffee.

 
 

Mrs. Yulia Masek majored in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Languages, Social Sciences, and Religion at Liberty University and completed her Master’s in Teaching at Northwest University. Mrs. Masek is passionate about God’s word, prayer, discipleship, and teaching children. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, gardening, music, theology, and mountaineering. She is excited to support our students in their spiritual, academic, and personal growth and to equip them to impact the world for the glory of God.
