5th Grade Teachers

Miss Lindsay Carter received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Western Washington University and her Master of Arts Degree in English Language Learning from Western Governors University. At her previous school, she taught a 5th & 6th-grade combination class for 3 years. Miss Carter enjoys spending her summers with family at their cabin. Miss Carter started teaching at NCA in 2012.

 
 
 
 

Mrs. Alison Doney received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia with endorsements in Elementary Education and English/Language Arts. Mrs. Doney began teaching at NCA in 2014. Her favorite subjects to teach are Writing and Science. She loves living in the Seattle area and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

 
 
 
 

Mrs. Veronica Spiker was born and raised in Western Washington and graduated from Seattle Pacific University and also has her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.  She has been teaching at NCA since 2015. Her favorite subject to teach is Reading and Mathematics. She loves incorporating movement and technology in the classroom. With a passion for ministering into the lives of children, she has taught a 5th/6th split in her hometown of Olympia and taught 3rd grade at a local Christian School. Her life verse is "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it," (Proverbs 22:6). Some of her favorite pastimes are singing, crafts, photography, running, and spending time with her husband, children and her local church.

 
 
 
Mrs. Cindy Montzingo received her BA in Elementary Education with an emphasis in science from Western Washington University in 1986. She also earned a Master's in Teacher Leadership from Lamar University. She has 34 years of experience teaching kindergarten through 8th grade as well as serving as a librarian and principal. Currently, she is serving as a missionary teacher in Chiang Rai, Thailand. She loves teaching science, igniting a love of asking questions about God's amazing creation and finding answers through hands-on exploration. Her husband and she have been married for 34 years and have two grown daughters.  She loves reading, hiking, biking and traveling.
