Platinum 20th Celebration Auction & Dinner...

at the ​Xfinity Arena in Everett
Post Auction Event Report!
 Our Auction this year was an awesome success!
  • This year's Auction grossed almost $165,000!
  • 320 people attended the auction this year! Thank you for attending!
  • Fund-a-need raised $42,575 for Science, Technology, Engineering, Math
    • Science:  Expand K-8 resources by adding critical supplies, equipment, and curriculum.
    • Technology: Add classrooms sets of devices and upgrade and expand our aging fleet of student laptops.
    • Engineering:  Double engineering units and teaching resources
    • Math: Purchase an individualized math program for advanced students and tutorial work
  • Classroom Art Projects support each teacher for specific classroom needs.
  • A mostly new ​Auction Team did an amazing job in putting this event together.  Thank you to Kathryn Posey, Nikki Smith, Maria Olsen, Kellie Unger, Terrie Lemcio and Annie Booth!  Without them and the tireless efforts of additional volunteers, the auction would not have been such a tremendous success. Thank you also to our faculty and staff who helped alongside the Auction team.
  • Fun Fact: the ticket cost for dinner of $60 covers only food and beverages.  We do not make any $'s from “ticket sales”. The remainder of the event costs (AV, set up, tables, etc.) are paid for by “sponsors and advertising”.  The amount we raise in the Live and Silent auctions is what we basically as net proceeds.
Auction Details
Our auction is one of only two fundraisers for our school. Auction funds are needed for three main purposes: to keep our tuition affordable, to purchase classrooms furnishings/supplies and to fund a project need every year. Our students have been blessed by many years of significant projects purchased by auction donations.

Classroom Art Projects Gallery & Silent Auction

The Classroom Art Projects Gallery & Silent Auction will be ​held in the NCA Lobby ​during ​November 9th-13th! ALL families ​will be allowed to bid during this silent auction (the final bid winner will be chosen on the 13th). Art project items can be taken home by the winning bidder on November 13th.

Procure Auction Items

This is how you make our Auction successful for our students every year:  We ask each family to Procure Items for the general Auction. Asking for donations is very easy. Businesses and individuals have given generously to our school and are anxious to invest in our students.

Matching Gifts

Many employers offer a “Matching Gift Program” to their employees and match our projects dollar-for-dollar! Contact your human resources department. For instance, if you donate $100, that is $200 for our students! Go here for more information and a list of potential Matching Donors.

Participate!

Provide ideas, talents, time and items/money to your child’s class auction art project. We will display these beautiful, unique, custom made items by our students in our art gallery in the lobby! Proceeds from these projects are separate from the Fund-an-Item project and the general auction. Proceeds directly benefit the students by funding classroom learning enhancements such as math-manipulatives, books, learning games, etc. These projects are beautiful and are treasured keepsakes. Your child’s teacher will be seeking a classroom art project lead parent - please volunteer!

Volunteer!

We need many volunteers to make the auction a success. The volunteers have a great time working together. We need volunteers to procure items, run errands, make phone calls, put donation baskets together, do data entry, organize, decorate, stuff envelopes, file documents and much more! We need help setting up the day of the auction as well as volunteers that night. Even if you only have one hour – it makes a difference. Be an Auction Sponsor or Advertiser!

Become a sponsor – this is a great way to purchase your auction tickets, promote your business and support our students. Advertisers have a choice of full, half-page or business card advertisements. You can promote your business/ organization and support NCA’s students.
