Literacy Coaching Program

Welcome from Literacy Coach, Mrs. Rebecca Stout

Hello!

I am thrilled to be the Student Achievement/Literacy Coach at NCA.

I have taught at Northshore since 1998 in grades K, 3^rd, and 4^th and have an additional twelve years of experience in Christian education in California and Oregon. My educational background includes a B.S. degree in elementary education from Columbia Christian College and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from California State University, Fullerton.

My focus is on overseeing support and enrichment opportunities in reading, writing, and language for students and in facilitating professional development and the best resources for teachers. I greatly enjoy helping students appreciate the blessings of literacy and to make application of their skills through growing comprehension of God’s Word and effective written and oral communication of God’s truths.

I have a heart to serve and am so excited to be a part of fostering a school culture where students and teachers love to learn!
