Matching Gifts Program: “A great way to double your gifts”

What is a “Matching Gift Program”?

Many employers offer a “Matching Gift Program” to their employees. These programs are their way of reaching out to local non-profit organizations such as ours, to help at a level they could not have without their employees’ direction and input. If your organization offers a “Matching Gift Program.” And you as an employee make a donation to an accredited non-profit organization such as NCA, they will match your gift. It’s that simple. For example, if you give NCA $100, your employer will match the $100 and NCA will be blessed with a $200 gift.

How do I let my employer know that I have made a donation?

Simply contact your employer and let them know that you would like to start the matching gift process. Your employer may have a “Matching Gift” area on their website, as well as the forms.

NCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and our Tax ID# is: 91-1515354.

The Boeing Company will match mimimum gifts of $25 to NCA for donations, $100 minimum for NCA's Walk-A-Thon, and $250 for 25 hours of volutneering for NCA.

Volunteer Hours Matched with Donation

Volunteer Hours Match FAQs
The hours eligible employees volunteer their time and skills to non-profits can be matched with dollars, giving an added benefit to your favorite community organization. For every 25 hours of volunteer service you give to an approved organization, Boeing will donate $250 to the organization. Volunteer match is currently not available for retirees or non-U.S. employees.

• Education: Kindergarten - 12th Grade (K-12) Schools
• Public schools accredited or recognized by the appropriate governmental educational entity within the state.
• Private schools accredited or recognized by an appropriate academic accrediting organization.
• Parent Teacher Association (PTA) recognized by the Internal Revenue Code.
• A tax-exempt school district foundation whose sole purpose is raising money for their constituent member schools which are individually eligible.

What organizations are not eligible for volunteer hour matching gifts?

• Organizations supporting domesticated animals
• Humane Societies or organizations
• Supporting organizations with tax status of 509(a)(3)
• Athletic teams, booster clubs, or support organizations
• Bequests, memorials
• Religious or political organizations
• Fraternities, sororities and alumni groups
• Fraternal organizations
• Individuals
• Ministries, theological or bible schools, seminaries
• Organizations outside the U.S.
• Professional associations
• School choirs, bands or drill teams
• Tithes or tuition
